With our office being nestled in the heart of the town, we are lucky enough to be surrounded by the delights of Tunbridge Wells. You may already enjoy the benefits of living here, or you may be considering a move to the area. So, we thought we should share some of the reasons why we love our charming little town, read on to see if you agree!

  1. The Pantiles

With our fabulous office being located here, of course this had to come first! With some of the buildings dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries, we are incredibly lucky to have our HQ in such a beautiful yet stylish part of Tunbridge Wells.

It is home to a pleasing variety of specialist independent shops, cafésrestaurants and bars – the perfect place to while away your weekend. With regular events from Jazz on The Pantiles, food festivals and fortnightly Farmers’ Market, there really is something for everyone!

  1. The property

Of course, we had to mention the area’s prime property stock. The variety and history we have in our town means there is plenty to choose from. From quirky little residential streets in the Tunbridge Wells village area, the grand architecture of the mansions on Nevill Park Road to the attractive modern developments in the surrounding areas of the town, there really is something to suit all tastes- and certainly plenty of utterly stunning examples of architecture throughout the town.   1. Eating and drinking out

When it comes to Tunbridge Wells you are spoilt for choice, with a huge variety of restaurants and plenty of lovely pubs popping there is a place for everyone, even the picky eaters and drinkers! So, whether you're in the mood for Japanese, Italian, Turkish, or a pub lunch, there's a wide variety of options to select from. If a nice cocktail and or gin and tonic is more up your street, Tunbridge Wells has you covered!

  1. The parks and walks

Tunbridge Wells has a great selection of parks, many of which have playgrounds and cafes. Whether you are in the mood for a short walk around the lake at Dunorlan Park or prefer having a coffee while taking in your surroundings at the Calverley Grounds, Tunbridge Wells has a lot of gorgeous green spaces to choose from. If you are like us and love a long dog walk on a Sunday, Tunbridge Wells has many circular routes which you can follow that showcase the beauty of the surrounding countryside.   1. The location

Roughly an hour’s train from London and about an hour’s drive to the coast, Tunbridge Wells has the best of both worlds in terms of location. You are nestled in amongst lush green countryside, close to some of the best seaside towns, such as Hastings, Camber Sands and Brighton while also enjoying brilliant access to the city!

  1. The schools

Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells is renowned for its high standard of schools. It is a huge draw for many who want to start a family and you really do have a huge choice when it comes to excellent schools in the town and the surrounding areas.   

  1. The café culture

There are some real gems spread across the town, whether you have a free afternoon, need somewhere with wi-fi to work or are venturing into town with the kids, there will be somewhere which takes your fancy. We are spoilt for choice on The Pantiles, with wonderful cafes such as The Zero Waste Company, The Cake Shed, Pantiles Cafe, Eggs Eleven and Hattons!

  1. The attractions

There is plenty to do with your children over weekends and school holidays. From the bike trails at Kingdom in Penshurst to the historic steam train that choo-choo’s from the old Tunbridge Wells West station to Groombridge and Eridge.   1. The Arts

From the Panto and comedy shows, to plays and live music performances, Tunbridge Wells caters for all with venues such as Trinity Arts Centre, The Forum and Assembly Hall Theatre. The music, culture and Arts of the town offer great fun for all ages, and a variety of brilliant events that happen all year round to bring the community together.

The community spirit of our town is something which makes it truly special. Whether it is charity events, seasonal celebrations or local businesses launching, we really do get behind our neighbours and friends in the town.
