The Annual Best Estate Agent guide is out – and we’re delighted to announce that that we have been awarded ‘Exceptional’ in Sales and ‘Excellent’ in Lettings! We are thrilled that Maddisons Residential has been recognised for our outstanding service and being among the highest performing estate agents in Tunbridge Wells; the team’s dedication and hard work has paid off!

What the Best Estate Guide judges look for

So, you may be wondering how this works… The Best Estate Agent Guide is compiled by industry experts, The Property Academy, together with Rightmove. They examine the performance of 26,000 estate and lettings branches in the UK over a six-month period, analysing over 1.5 million transactions and 1.5 billion property views.

The Awards use a ratings system based on a combination of data and mystery shopping to make a fair and informed decision. Some of the areas they look at include:

  • How well properties are marketed on Rightmove
  • How well properties perform on Rightmove
  • How good the customer experience is with that agent via telephone and email
  • Market share

Taking home Gold and Silver Best Estate Agent Awards

How each estate agents ranks compared with their local competition is determined by the points scored in the data analysis. Gold awards are given to agencies whose score is ‘Exceptional’, putting them in the top 5% of estate agency branches in the country. If an agency is awarded a Silver, they are among the top 10% of estate agency branches in the country, showing ‘a commendable dedication to client satisfaction’.

As you can imagine we were thrilled to find out how we compare to our local competitors in Tunbridge Wells. With this process involving analysis of over 25,000 branches, we couldn’t quite believe what we have achieved.
