Spring has officially sprung, and Easter is almost here! As the Easter break approaches, I am sure you are starting to think of ways to keep your littles ones entertained, so we thought we’d share some of our favourite Easter activities to enjoy with the family in our charming town.

  1. Dunorlan Park Boating Lake

Dunorlan Park Boating Lake is open for another season from 2nd of April.  Hire a boat or pedalo and enjoy some family fun on the lovely lake. Make sure you keep an eye out for the baby ducklings! You could even make the most of the outdoors and bring a picnic for you all to enjoy in the (hopefully) sunny weather or enjoy the extensive menu at the Dunorlan Park Café.

  1. Groombridge Place

Enjoy the beautiful grounds of Groombridge Place as it reopens on the 31March. Groombridge Place has so much to offer from its wonderful adventure playground, boat rides and the fabulous peacocks to admire. There's also an Easter trail for the kids to enjoy; solve the clues and you'll win a sweet treat!

  1. Spa Valley Railway

Bring the whole family along to the Spa Valley Railway to join Little Red Riding Hood as she tries to find the perfect easter egg for Granny. An afternoon packed full of comedy, magic and fun!

  1. The Pantiles

Over Easter weekend why not take a trip to the famous Pantiles Market? With a wide selection of local produce, crafts and handmade gifts, it’s the perfect spot to wander around on a long sunny Easter Bank Holiday weekend, with plenty of lovely cafes such as Zero Waste Company and The Cake Shed to grab a bite to eat.

  1. Bewl Water

The Easter Eggsplorer at Bewl Water has begun; hop on your bike or walk around the gorgeous Bewl route to see if you can spot the Easter eggs and bunnies! When all of the eggs have been located, the letters can be unscrambled to form an Easter word and a prize can be won!

  1. The Hop Farm

Enjoy masses of outdoor fun at The Hop Farm, from their outdoor adventure play park, crazy golf and animal farm - there is something for everyone!

  1. Hever Castle and Gardens

From 2 to 18 April, Hever Castle will be running a free Easter egg hunt as well as an arts and craft workshop for children over the age of four. After that, why not visit their adventure playground and maze or tour of the beautiful grounds and castle.

We are grateful to be a part of such a lively and engaged community, and we wish you a very Happy Easter. Throughout the Easter break we will be posting Easter activities on our Instagram and Facebook, so keep your eyes peeled…
