These tours, running from the 30th of September to the 29th of November, offer a rare glimpse into the autumnal transformation of one of the UK's most picturesque gardens.

Knowledgeable guides are eager to showcase the vibrant tapestry of colours that make Scotney a visual feast in the autumn. Witness the golden amber of deciduous conifers, the bright yellows of the tulip trees, and the flaming reds of the Liquidamber and various acers. It’s a perfect opportunity to see why Scotney is celebrated as one of the finest examples of a garden.

But these guided tours are much more than just a walk; they are a learning experience. Gain insight into how the Hussey family's original vision for these gardens continues to influence the way they are cultivated today. The tours run from 11:00 to 11:45, starting from the Garden board through the Visitor Entrance. The paths are hard-surfaced, making them suitable for buggies, wheelchairs, and powered mobility vehicles. Comfortable footwear is recommended as you explore the natural beauty of our gardens. No need to book the tour itself; it’s free with your entry ticket. However, please book your car parking in advance to guarantee entry.
