The Pantiles is buzzing with excitement as it proudly announces the return of its cherished live music series, now rebranded as “Live at The Pantiles.” Sponsored by Thomson Snell & Passmore and Dandara, this event promises to be a highlight of the summer season in Tunbridge Wells.

Previously known as “Jazz on The Pantiles,” this annual event has been a cornerstone of the local community, attracting music lovers from near and far. With a fresh name and an eclectic line-up, Live at The Pantiles is set to deliver unforgettable Thursday evenings filled with exceptional live music, vibrant energy, and memorable experiences.

World-Class Performances

Since its inception, The Pantiles has been a cultural hub in Tunbridge Wells, rich in history and tradition. Over the years, Jazz on The Pantiles has become synonymous with summer evenings, bringing together friends and families to enjoy world-class jazz performances in a unique outdoor setting. Reflecting on the event’s evolution, Head of Marketing & Events at The Pantiles, Jason Vickers, says: “Jazz on The Pantiles has been an incredible journey, but we felt it was time to refresh the event and broaden its appeal. Live at The Pantiles encapsulates the essence of what we offer – a dynamic showcase of live music spanning various genres.”

An Exciting Twist

While jazz remains at the heart of Live at The Pantiles, this season introduces an exciting twist with the inclusion of new genres such as funk, soul, pop, rock, and ska. Attendees can expect a diverse lineup featuring both familiar faces and emerging talents, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy. From the smooth sounds of the Simon Spillett Quartet to the infectious rhythms of the Skatonics, each performance promises to captivate audiences and ignite a sense of excitement.

Live at The Pantiles will take place every Thursday evening from 2nd May to 12th September, running from 7pm to 10pm. The festivities kick off with the band taking the stage at 7.30pm, setting the tone for an unforgettable night of live music. To secure their spot, attendees are encouraged to book early and take advantage of online ticket purchases, priced at £5 in advance. For those without a participating restaurant reservation, tickets will be available for purchase at the door at a higher rate.

New Spectator Space!

In response to feedback from attendees, Live at The Pantiles has introduced a new spectator space, eliminating the need to dine at a restaurant. This allows music enthusiasts to fully immerse themselves in the experience and enjoy the performances without any additional obligations. Additionally, attendees are invited to bring their own chairs, although limited seating will be available on-site.
