On Friday the 11th of March, our inspirational Managing Partner, Deborah Richards, and some of the Maddisons team headed to the Ashford International Hotel to raise a glass to the best business women across the county. Even though it was Deborah’s first time entering the Kent Women in Business Awards, she triumphed with not one but two awards: Gold in the Growth award and silver in the Best Business over Five Years award!

Kent Women in Business is an annual celebration of Kent’s leading businesswomen and is an evening designed to recognise and reward excellence in businesses across the South East region. Now in their 10th year, the Kent Women in Business Awards allow all sectors and industries to come together for an evening of celebration to recognise the contribution that women make to our communities and the business world.

Two more awards to our name

Deborah Richards, Founder of Maddisons Residential was named the winner of The Growth Award and runner-up of the Best Business of Five Years Award. The judges praised Deborah for the company’s substantial growth, alongside our dedication to provide exceptional customer service.

From the beginning

Starting from her kitchen table in 2013, Deborah has experienced many financial, economic and political challenges in bringing Maddisons Residential to the top of Tunbridge Wells property industry. Deborah's perseverance and commitment to maintaining brilliant customer service over the years has resulted in the company continuously being in the top 3% of UK estate agents since 2017, outperforming well-known, national competition.

Deborah’s tenacity and passion for property has helped the Maddisons Residential team to grow to 13 members of staff (and counting) and establish an award-winning office in the heart of The Pantiles. Deborah's expert management and her team's dedication to providing exceptional service is reflected in the company's rapid growth and reputation as a leading estate agent in the Tunbridge Wells area. Deborah comments:
