Bodiam castle and the ancient town of Battle are close by, and if you want to escape to the coast, Hastings is only 17 miles away. The nearest mainline station, offering a frequent service direct into central London in just under an hour, is found at Wadhurst or Stonegate, both only a few miles distant.

Directions

From our offices on The Pantiles, head towards the A267 Frant Road. Drive out of the town on this road, and after almost 4 miles, take the B2099 signposted to Wadhurst. Stay on this road, continuing through the village of Wadhurst and after 10 miles, turn right onto Church Street. Gable End can be found a short distance on the right hand side, opposite the church and set back from the road, which is number 7 Church Street.
